Detailed Settings
MPEG-4
(1) [Video Quality]
Select a desired quality from 1 to 5 (total 5 levels) for video transmitted in MPEG-4.
The greater the value, the higher the quality becomes.
(2) [Video size]
Select [320 x 240] or [640 x 480] for the size of video transmitted.
(3) [Capture Frame Rate]
Select [10], [15] or [30] (fps) as the capture frame rate.
Note
z If a higher video size or quality is set, the data size per frame will increase and the network
load will increase.
JPEG : The frame rate may drop.
MPEG-4 : Video may be temporarily disrupted.
z The data size may increase depending on the type or movement of the subject.
If the frame rate remains low or other undesirable condition continues for a long period,
lower the image size or quality setting.
z Take note that if you are using the optional recording software VK-64/VK-16 or bundled
VK-Lite, the hard disk utilization will also be affected during recording.
